    Alban CAT, the Caterpillar dealer for the mid-Atlantic Region is accepting applications for Branch Manager for our Dulles branch.

    Responsibilities

    The Branch Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the branch to ensure an efficient and profitable operation to support branch and corporate objectives by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.  Manage all aspects of the Parts and Service business for the branch.  Confer with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in area.  Establish a culture of professionalism, open interactive team communication with a focus on a high sense of urgency for customers.  Create annual business plan and budget to promote machine sales, parts and service, safety and teamwork.  Develop and manage employees' growth through mentoring and training.  Recommend budgets to management.  Profit and loss responsibilities for the branch.  Manage branch workflow and financial performance.  Management of capital equipment and the facility.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of five years of experience in an upper level management position in a service related industry.  Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products. Must be a strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Must have the ability to manage a large scale operation in a fast-paced environment.  Must have an attention to detail.  Must have a mechanical aptitude.  Must possess strong critical thinking skills.  Must have excellent customer relationship skills.  Exceptional leadership skills, conflict resolution and negotiating skills. Must have basic accounting and financial skills.  Minimum of two years supervisory experience.  Experience in the Heavy Construction Equipment Industry preferred.   Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
