  • Overview

    Alban CAT, the Caterpillar dealer for the mid-Atlantic Region is accepting applications for an Accounts Payable Coordinator for our Pulaski branch.

    Responsibilities

    The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for processing accounts payable, reconciling vendor payments and preparing bank deposits and transfers in accordance with company policies and procedures. Schedules invoices for payment, verifying approvals, calculations and coding for accuracy.  Verify invoices for payment and maintains file data.  Enter all payables including vendor invoices, vendor credits and employee expense reports for payment in weekly payment runs.  Coordinate pay runs to ensure all payments including check, ACH, purchase card and those processed on the vendor websites are processed timely and accurately.  Issue stop payments as directed.  Reconcile vendor statements and invoices.  Respond to accounts payable inquiries.  Identify issues and assist with resolution.  Complete credit applications and Sales Tax Exemption Certificates as needed.  Perform daily file uploads, maintain vendor database and vendor spreadsheet for uploading onto company Intranet.  Perform various other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of three years of accounts payable experience. Proficiency with MS Office with an intermediate level of experience working in Excel (creating worksheet formulas, extracting and manipulating data, data validation, splitting windows, etc.).  Strong math skills with the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.  Must have excellent attention to detail and be able to prioritize and complete multiple projects in an organized and timely manner.
