    Alban CAT, the Caterpillar dealer for the mid-Atlantic Region is accepting applications for a Central Quoter I – Power Systems for our Elkridge branch. 

    Responsibilities

    The Central Quoter I is responsible for creating basic Product Support quotations through PSQuoter for Product Support team and branch personnel.  Develop Customer Service Agreements (CSAs) for the following equipment types: diesel engine products, Flywheel Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Generator sets, and low amperage Open Transition Automatic Transfer Switches.  Develop quotes for New Equipment Extended Service Coverage policies and simple maintenance level repairs.  Provide superior quality and competitive quotes in a timely manner for Product Support team and branch personnel via the PSQuoter application.  Coordinate information (prices increases, availability, service, delivery, etc.) between Vendors and Product Support personnel.  Assemble and validate the final quote, including material and labor.  Review all quotes for completeness, requested quantity, and are in compliance with customer requirements and company standards.  Ensure all pricing received is correct and accurate.  Provide bid work assistance, including conducting research on pricing, delivery, and availability; ensuring approvals are received; developing quotes in PSQ.  Maintain Customer Relations Management quotes and opportunities in SalesLink and PSQ.  Provide feedback to Product Support Sales Manager about competitive needs for further marketing fund(s) implementation.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of two years’ service estimating and quoting experience in the diesel, gas, automotive and/or HVAC industry.  Diesel and/or electrical technician experience preferred.  Experience with PSQuoter program preferred.  Customer service experience preferred.  Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products.  Must be able to maintain various databases.  Must be a strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills.  Must have strong organizational and time management skills.  Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines and attention to detail.
